How do I get referred to the Sussex Cancer Centre?

Your GP or hospital consultant can refer you directly. We also accept self-referrals for certain screening and diagnostic programmes. Once we receive your referral, our team will contact you to arrange an initial consultation, usually within five working days.

Do you treat all types of cancer?

Yes. We treat a comprehensive range of cancers including breast, lung, bowel, prostate, ovarian, pancreatic, skin, blood and many rarer types. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that even complex and rare cancers receive expert attention.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit will include a thorough consultation with your lead clinician, a review of any existing test results, and a discussion of potential treatment options. You are welcome to bring a family member or friend for support.

Is there parking and accessibility at the centre?

Yes. We have free on-site parking with designated disabled bays. The entire facility is wheelchair accessible, and we offer transport assistance for patients who have difficulty travelling. Please ask our team for details when you book.
