About the Sussex Cancer Centre

For over two decades we have been at the forefront of cancer care in the South East, delivering world-class treatment with compassion and dignity.

Our History

A Journey of Dedication and Excellence

From our founding to the present day, every milestone reflects our commitment to patients and their families.

Built on Hope Since 1998

The Sussex Cancer Centre was established in 1998 as a collaborative initiative between leading oncologists, radiologists and local health authorities. What began as a small outpatient clinic in Brighton has grown into a comprehensive cancer treatment facility serving the entire county of Sussex.

Our founders believed that patients deserved access to the most advanced cancer treatments without having to travel to London. That vision continues to guide everything we do today — from early diagnosis and screening programmes to cutting-edge immunotherapy and rehabilitation services.
